45 Years of Violent Femmes

Milwaukee's Violent Femmes built folk punk from the street up — literally busking outside an Oriental Theatre Pretenders show in 1981 before scoring a slot inside that same night. Four decades on, 'Blister in the Sun' remains inescapable, and the Femmes still tour with their unhinged Horns of Dilemma in tow.
