Born in Portsmouth, NH, Tom Rush helped launch the singer-songwriter era from Cambridge's Club 47 in the '60s — Rolling Stone credits him with it. His folk and blues chops introduced Joni Mitchell, James Taylor, and Jackson Browne to the world. Now Massachusetts-based, he's still at it.
