Charlie Jamieson Jazz Band
A familiar name on the Cape Cod jazz circuit, the Charlie Jamieson Jazz Band brings traditional jazz to Falmouth — including regular gigs at Jack's Restaurant and appearances at events like Falmouth Jazz Fest.
Charlie Jamieson has been leading jazz ensembles on Cape Cod for years, performing under various configurations — the Trio, the Jazz Band, and collaborative groupings with guest vocalists such as Donna Scheer and singer Cerise. The group is rooted in traditional jazz and has appeared at Falmouth community events including the Falmouth Jazz Fest and Arts Alive, as well as local restaurants and bars. Jamieson is also listed among the pianists who have participated in Cape Cod's broader jazz jam scene. At Jack's Restaurant in Falmouth — a locally-owned spot on Gifford Street known for its live music program — the Charlie Jamieson Jazz Band is a returning act, bringing an intimate, swinging feel to the venue's warm, neighborhood-pub atmosphere.
