A James Beard Award semifinalist for Best New Restaurant 2025, Lune is one of the most talked-about dining destinations on Cape Cod — and one of its smallest. Husband-and-wife team Charlotte and Mick Formichella opened this intimate Dennis Port restaurant with a clear purpose: to create the kind of place they wished already existed here. Chef Mick builds menus from the ground up each week, starting with local ingredients and the producers behind them. Charlotte, a thirteenth-generation Cape Codder, runs the front of house with the kind of hospitality that feels personal rather than performative.
Thursday through Saturday, Lune operates as a tasting-menu-only experience ($145 per person), with an optional six-wine pairing ($75). Sundays shift to à la carte. The chef's counter overlooking the open kitchen is reservable and seats up to six. Either way, reservations are essential — the restaurant books out weeks in advance, and OpenTable opens 60 days out. Dietary restrictions can be accommodated with advance notice. Plan ahead, join the waitlist, and check for same-day availability: cancellations do happen.
