Three Devine brothers — Paddo, Seamus, and Macklin — playing hard-driving original rock out of Cape Cod since 2018. Self-described 'dirty water rock' with blues roots, a debut EP, a full LP, and a commissioned Cape Rep musical under their belts.
Club 9 Ball is a Cape Cod-based rock trio made up of brothers Paddo Devine (lead guitar, vocals), Seamus Devine (drums), and Macklin Devine (bass, vocals). Paddo and Seamus formed the band in November 2018 after departing cover act Someone's Little Brother, releasing debut EP "Tomorrowland" in April 2019. Macklin joined in early 2020. The band describes their sound as "dirty water rock" with heavy blues influence, drawing on influences ranging from Stevie Ray Vaughan and Led Zeppelin to Slash and Geezer Butler. They quickly built a following across Cape Cod, Boston, the North Shore, and Providence. In 2023, Cape Rep Theatre commissioned them to write and star in original musical "Archibald Avery," featuring 23 original songs. Their 10-song LP "Bad Weather" dropped in June 2024. They were nominated for Best Hard Rock/Metal Act of the Year at the 2025 New England Music Awards and founded the Veterans Rock free music festival on the Cape.
