Heyday
Heyday is a Cape Cod quartet led by singer-songwriter Kathleen Healy and guitarist Randy Patterson, formed in 2017. They play upbeat Americana, folk, and singer-songwriter originals alongside well-chosen covers — a regular presence at venues from West Yarmouth to Dennis.
Formed in 2017, Heyday was founded by Kathleen Healy (rhythm guitar, lead vocals) and Randy Patterson (lead guitar, mandolin, backing vocals), both songwriters rooted in Cape Cod. The band expanded shortly after forming to include Bill Kwaak on drums and harmony, and later welcomed Roe Osborn on bass and harmony. Every member of the quartet writes original material, and their sets blend those originals with carefully selected covers spanning classic folk, singer-songwriter, and Irish traditions. Healy, a Cape Cod-based musician and BMI member, draws from life near the beach for much of her songwriting. The band performs regularly at Cape Cod venues including The Music Room Cape Cod in West Yarmouth, Sons of Erin Cape Cod, and the Cape Cod Museum of Art in Dennis.
