Irish Whispa
Boston-based Irish Whispa has been raising pints and rattling pub rafters since 2011, blending traditional Irish ballads with folk and country. They're regulars on Cape Cod's Irish circuit, including the Sons of Erin in West Yarmouth.
Formed in 2011, Irish Whispa is a Boston-area four-piece steeped in Irish music and culture. The band draws heavily from the Dubliners, Wolfe Tones, Clancy Brothers, and Christy Moore, keeping traditional Irish ballads alive alongside folk and country favorites. Core members include Brien on lead vocals and guitar, Kevin on vocals/guitar/banjitar/cajón, Rob on bass/bodhrán/highland bagpipes/harmonica, and Michael — a native of Kenmare, Ireland — on accordion and bodhrán. They perform regularly at pubs, festivals, and private events across New England, and have a well-worn trail to Cape Cod, appearing at venues like the Sons of Erin in West Yarmouth and the Cape Cod Irish Fest.
