LIVE ENTERTAINMENT, SING-ALONG, COVER SONGS

Jim Plunkett

A genuine legend of the Cape Cod Happy Hour circuit, Jim Plunkett has been getting New England crowds on their feet — and singing at the top of their lungs — for decades. Catch him at The Loft at the Cove in West Yarmouth, where the tradition lives on.

Long before sing-alongs were a trend, Jim Plunkett was the engine behind the legendary Cape Cod Happy Hour scene — ranked alongside names like John Morgan, Gordie Milne, and DJ Sullivan as one of the acts that defined those packed, raucous afternoon sessions from Falmouth to Dennis Port. A New England entertainer to his core, Plunkett works from Cape Cod to the Boston area, pairing his own live set with a DJ to keep the dancing going well after the last chorus fades. Now in his mid-70s, he still takes the stage at The Loft at the Cove in West Yarmouth — the same resort where fans once lined up early just to grab a seat — proving that the best Cape Cod traditions are impossible to retire.
