A Trinidad-born steel pan virtuoso who traded Carnival stages for Cape Cod summers, Michael Gabriel grew up touring with top Trini steel bands before settling on the Cape. He leads reggae/funk/calypso outfits Shango Axe and the Dune Billy All-Stars and has shared stages with Jimmy Cliff and Burning Spear.
