Dublin balladeer Dave Hickey and Cape Cod-based singer/songwriter Sean Brennan make a natural pair — Hickey's Irish warmth meeting Brennan's multi-instrumental range across folk, Celtic, classic hits, and standards. Expect a pub night that feels genuinely lived-in.
Dave Hickey has been a fixture of the Cape Cod and Boston Irish music scene for well over two decades, bringing a Dublin balladeer's ease to sets that range from traditional Irish songs to folk standards and classic hits. Sean Brennan, a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who grew up in Tennessee and now calls Cape Cod home, brings guitar, piano, and harmonica to a repertoire that spans folk, Celtic, country, and rock — as well as his own original material. Brennan has earned a reputation as a versatile collaborator, performing as guest accompanist for noted artists including Eamonn Coyne and the late Jerry Holland, and playing in several Cape Cod projects including the Celtic duo Stanley & Grimm. Together, Hickey and Brennan have shared the stage at O'Shea's Olde Inne in West Dennis since at least 2010, developing an easy chemistry that turns a pub set into a proper session.
