Arkansas-born, Michigan-raised 'Rust Belt blues' lifer Larry McCray has been grinding since his 1990 debut Ambition — 11 albums deep, sharing stages with BB King, Buddy Guy, and Joe Bonamassa. His 2025 album Heartbreak City is road-worn proof he's still one of the most expressive blues guitarists alive.
