Chatham gets a playful Halloween makeover as Pumpkin People in the Park returns to Kate Gould Park and the Main Street bandstand!

Each October, local businesses, organizations, and residents bring their imaginations to life with creative pumpkin-headed characters and whimsical displays. From clever costumes to elaborate scenes, these one-of-a-kind Pumpkin People make a stroll through downtown Chatham a fun fall outing for all ages.

The tradition is part of what makes Chatham such a special place to celebrate Halloween. Travel + Leisure even ranked Chatham fourth among America’s Best Towns for Halloween, highlighting the town’s Oktoberfest and Pumpkin People in the Park celebrations.
