Tucked inside the Uncommoner Hotel on Route 28 in West Yarmouth, Gypsy Sol is a Mediterranean small-plates restaurant and cocktail bar built around a distinctly mystical sensibility. The cocktail program centers on twelve zodiac-inspired signature drinks — each crafted to reflect the energy of its astrological sign — while the broader bar goes further with drinks served in smoke, cauldrons, teapots, and sealed bubbles. The food follows the same wandering spirit: shareable small plates drawn from sun-soaked Mediterranean coastlines and spice markets, designed to be passed and lingered over.
Cafe Arcana, the morning counterpart, opens the day with espresso drinks, fresh fruit refreshers, and in-house baked pastries — the same atmospheric sensibility, dialed down to a quieter morning pace. Both concepts were imagined as the restaurant and café of "The Visionary," one of four guest archetypes woven through the Uncommoner's design and branding.
Note that both Gypsy Sol and Cafe Arcana are closed for the 2026 season and are scheduled to reopen May 2027.
